Hinckley BID’s annual Soap Box Derby is now a well established event in everyone’s yearly calendar. For its 10th year we worked with Hinckley BID to develop a refreshed campaign style which focuses on the thrills and speed showcased by soap boxes hurtling through Hinckley Town Centre. We know that the event brings in big crowds but this year we wanted increase footfall further. This year’s campaign introduced the use of more digital messaging platforms including social media so a heavy emphasis was placed on creating motion graphics for posts that could be promoted online. To make it easier for teams to enter and for entry management we designed and employed the use of an online entry form which has helped make entering a team faster and more convenient. We’re proud to continue working with Hinckley BID and to be apart of putting Hinckley on the map. This years event was the highest ever attended with over 10,000 spectators.
