The Hinckley Skyline project was commissioned by Hinckley BID for a new promotional campaign called ‘Rediscover Hinckley’ to help showcase what the town has to offer its visitors and residents. In 2014, the Town centre was going through a period of regeneration and transformation with big investment projects such as The Crescent complex as well as the brand new Leisure Centre in Argents Mead Park. We were asked to create a campaign design that was distinctly ‘Hinckley’ and that graphically represented the positive change that the Town was going through.
We chose to illustrate some of Hinckley’s most iconic, historic and modern buildings, celebrating the diverse skyline of the Town centre. These buildings as seen here were digitally created and drawn in-house and formed a major part of the graphical style that we proposed for the campaign. They are consistently used today in various ways to represent Hinckley and what it has to offer.
